Welcome to Verwood Cricket Club's website.

Verwood Cricket Club play at Potterne Park.

We now have two  Saturday teams, a Wednesday evening team and play in the indoor league during the winter.

Saturday games are 42 six ball overs per innings. They start at  1400 and tea should be about 1630. The game should be over at about 1930.

The Wednesday evening games start at 1830 and are 12 eight ball overs, increased to 14 overs when it is light enough. The games should finish by 2100.

The First 11 was promoted back to league division two after coming forth last season. The second 11 is playing in division 4 and is a new team.

If you think you would like to play please get in touch, or come down to one of our pre-season net sessions at the Christchurch Cricket Centre.

Alternatively If you are interested in playing or have children who might be interested in learning please Contact the Club Secretary

 Richard Mayo by Email .

We regret that we are not allowed to have overseas players in our league so it is not worth getting in touch. (Unless you are a u.k. resident.)

We have purchased a pitch roller, Help will be needed to roll the pitch when it arrives.
